Cookie Policy

Effective date: 29 December 2025
Last updated: 29 December 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how WebCreationSuite s.r.l. (“WebCreationSuite,” “WCS,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on webcreationsuite.com and, where applicable, within WCS web applications and services. It is intended to be valid for visitors and users in the EU/EEA, United Kingdom, United States (including California), and Canada, and it may apply elsewhere where local laws require transparency and choices for tracking technologies.

Cookies and similar technologies can be used for essential website functionality, security, performance, analytics, and (where enabled) advertising and retargeting. Your options to accept, reject, or customize these technologies depend on your location and applicable law, and are available through our consent and preference controls described below.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies help websites and services remember your preferences, keep you signed in, operate securely, and measure how the site is used. Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (stored for a set period).

We also use similar technologies that may function like cookies, including pixels (tracking tags), SDKs, local storage, server-side logging, and identifiers that help measure activity or provide features. Some of these technologies may involve third parties (for example, analytics and advertising platforms).

2. First-party vs. third-party cookies

Some cookies are set directly by WCS (“first-party cookies”). Other cookies are set by our partners when you use our site (“third-party cookies”), for example when we embed analytics or advertising tools. Third-party cookies and related technologies are governed by the third parties’ own policies, and we encourage you to review those policies when deciding your preferences.

3. Why we use cookies (purposes)

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure our services, to provide core functionality, to remember your preferences, to understand how our site and apps perform, and—where enabled and permitted—to support marketing measurement and retargeting. In practice, this typically includes maintaining sessions, load-balancing, preventing fraud and abuse, detecting suspicious activity, keeping the site stable, measuring usage patterns, and improving user experience.

Where local law requires it (for example, in the EU/EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies or enabling non-essential tracking technologies. Strictly necessary cookies may still be used because they are required for the site to function securely.

4. Cookie categories we use

The categories below describe how cookies are commonly grouped for compliance purposes. The actual categories available to you in our consent interface may vary by jurisdiction and implementation.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the website and services to function and cannot be switched off in our systems in most cases. They are used for security, fraud prevention, load balancing, authentication/session management, and basic site operations. Without these, certain features (such as logging in or maintaining secure sessions) may not work.

Functional cookies

These support enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering preferences, language, or UI settings. If you disable these, some features may become less convenient or may not function properly.

Analytics / measurement cookies

These help us understand how visitors use our website and services so we can measure performance and improve. We may use tools such as Google Analytics and Plausible for analytics, and we may also use internal measurement tools. Depending on configuration and your choices, analytics may rely on cookies or comparable identifiers.

Marketing / advertising cookies (including retargeting)

These may be used to deliver ads more relevant to you, limit ad frequency, measure campaign effectiveness, and (where enabled) support retargeting. We may use tools such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and WCS Pixel for these purposes. Marketing cookies are generally enabled only where allowed and, where required, only with your consent or after you have been provided a legally compliant opt-out.

5. Technologies and providers we may use

Depending on the page, feature, and your preferences, WCS may use the following types of technology providers:

We may use content delivery and security services such as Cloudflare and bunny.net to deliver content efficiently and protect against threats. These services can involve security-related cookies or similar mechanisms to protect the site and users.

We may use analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Plausible to understand traffic and usage. We may use advertising/measurement tools such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and WCS Pixel to measure conversions and, where enabled, to support retargeting.

We may also use application monitoring and error tracking tooling (for example, Sentry) and operational monitoring systems (for example, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki) which may collect technical identifiers and telemetry; these are generally used for security, reliability, debugging, and performance.

Because cookie identifiers and vendor behavior can change based on configuration and product updates, the most accurate “current cookie list” should be presented in the cookie preference interface (or a linked cookie scanner/report) where cookie names, providers, and lifetimes can be disclosed dynamically.

6. Legal basis and rules by region

EU/EEA and UK

In the EU/EEA and UK, the use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by rules such as the ePrivacy framework (and in the UK, PECR) alongside GDPR/UK GDPR. We use strictly necessary cookies based on necessity to provide requested services and maintain security, and we seek consent for non-essential cookies (such as analytics and marketing) where required. You can withdraw consent at any time through our cookie preference controls.

United States (including California)

U.S. privacy laws vary by state. Where required (including under California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to opt out of certain uses of data associated with cookies for targeted advertising and certain disclosures that may be considered “sale” or “sharing” under legal definitions. If our marketing technologies support cross-context behavioral advertising, we provide mechanisms to opt out through cookie controls and/or a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option where applicable.

Where supported, we may also honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as browser-based signals) when they are verifiable and technically feasible in our environment.

Canada

Under Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA), we provide meaningful notice and, where appropriate, obtain consent for non-essential tracking technologies. You can manage preferences through our controls and your browser/device settings.

7. How to manage your cookie preferences

You can manage cookies in several ways:

If our site shows a cookie banner or preference center, you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies there. You can also change your choices later by using the cookie settings link or control available on the site (for example, in the footer) if implemented. If you withdraw consent, it will apply going forward and may not remove data already processed lawfully under prior consent.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking cookies, deleting existing cookies, or receiving alerts when cookies are set. Be aware that disabling cookies may affect functionality, including login and security features.

For advertising cookies specifically, many platforms provide account-level ad preference controls that may reduce targeted ads even if you do not use our on-site preference center. The availability and effectiveness of those controls depend on the platform and your settings.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals; there is no universal industry standard for how these signals must be interpreted. Where required by applicable law, and where technically feasible, we may treat certain recognized signals (for example, Global Privacy Control in relevant contexts) as an opt-out of targeted advertising or “sale/sharing” as defined under certain U.S. laws. If we do so, we will reflect this in our consent and preference experience.

9. Cookies on customer websites (WCS Pixel)

WCS may later provide WCS Pixel to customers for use on their own websites. When a customer installs WCS Pixel on their site, the customer typically controls configuration and purposes (for example, analytics, conversion measurement, or retargeting). In those cases, the customer is generally responsible for providing notice and obtaining any required consent from their end users, while WCS provides tools that can support compliant configurations. The exact roles (controller/processor) may vary depending on configuration and contractual setup.

10. Children’s privacy

WCS services and website are primarily intended for professional use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly set non-essential cookies or engage in targeted advertising directed at children where prohibited by applicable law. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child via cookies or similar technologies, please contact privacy@webcreationsuite.com.

11. Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our technologies, vendors, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the updated Policy on /cookies and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
